Good Acoustic Beginner Guitars

Good steel string acoustic beginner guitar?

I’ve settled on the sound of steel strings on an acoustic guitar for a first guitar. I’ve noticed some Fender, Yamaha, and Epiphone models have steel strings and look nice. I’m trying to stay below $250, so the Seagull S6 is probably out of my range as highly as it’s recommended. I want something that will last, have good sound and not give me buyer’s remorse if I lose interest six months after starting to play.
